Seasif, the new industrial settlement with 400 workplaces considered by the trade union organizations as: "Important project"

The program that foresees interventions in the manufacturing and energy field, will be developed in the Asi area of Manfredonia and Monte Sant'Angelo.

At the headquarters of Confindustria Foggia it was presented the industrial settlement project of Terminal Geochem-Seasif Group at the general union trade secretaries and their delegates Maurizio Carmeno of Cgil (Italian General Confederation of Labor), Mohammed Elmajdi of Cisl (Italian Confederation of Trade Unions) and Luca Maggio of Uil (Italian Labor Union).

The program that foresees interventions in the manufacturing and energy field, will be developed in the Asi area of Manfredonia and Monte Sant'Angelo.

"It was a very positive meeting that served to highlight the importance of the industrial project of Seasif Group, also in the light of the upcoming availability of the Conveyor Belts Group of the industrial Port of Manfredonia. The meeting also served to resume the traditional collaboration with the Trade Union Organizations which confirms the mutual conviction of the cultural development marked by the constant synergy of social forces". So said Ivano Chierici, Present President of the General Confederation of Italian Industry of Foggia at the end of the meeting in which was outlined also the chrono program of the project development.

The trade union organizations, who appreciated their involvement in a concerted process, have positively evaluated the potentials of territorial and port development by the investment, reserving the right to communicate the definitive opinion, after the necessary in-depth study of the documentation that will be carried out in the next few days.

The initiative developed on Zes areas - Special Economic Zones, will benefit from an important procedural acceleration and will generate over 400 direct work units in addition to the induced.
